Such a lovely and cosy place!
We had pastries galore and out of this world breakfast burritos.
The coffee was excellent and they were happy to accommodate custom drinks!
The seating upstairs is great for working, downstairs for reading and outside for everything! -

Fehrenbacher Hof is a charming coffee house that also serves sandwiches, soups and bakery items. There are gluten free and vegan options available. The entire house, which is early 20th century, is available for guests to enjoy. The outdoor front patio area is quite pleasant and has overhead heating.
We visited " the Hof " for the first time today and unfortunately it did not go as well as expected. The man at the counter was rather unpleasant. I inquired about several of the drinks on the menu but he really wasn't interested in trying to help me. So I chose to order a maple latte and a drunken monkey. The man who prepared our drinks was much nicer and chatted as he worked.
When I tasted my drink it was awful. There was no coffee flavor at all. It really didn't taste like much of anything. So I tried my friend's drink thinking it might be better. But neither drink tasted good. My friend agreed with me so we left unhappy.
Maybe it was just a bad day for us to visit so we might try it again sometime. Their bakery items did look quite good. -
Keep On Rolling ..
This is a very cozy and peaceful coffee shop and restaurant in a converted older house.
They have soups, sandwiches and burritos, and the people working there are very nice.
There are two levels of seating and lovely window views. It's a calm environment, excellent for relaxing, studying, thinking, etc. -

Cozy, old-school (70's?) cafe/coffee shop, staffed by friendly people. Not too far from downtown, it's on a quiet leafy stretch, nice place to sit with a book and a mug of tea on a rainy afternoon. On warmer days enjoy your lunch on the front porch. Next door to Goose Hollow Inn.

I almost want to keep this place a secret but in the interest of humanity I'll let the word get out: this place is your sweet european grandma's house.
1) It literally is a house and the seating is broken up into separate rooms including an upstairs and outside tables
2) My breakfast sandwich wasn't exactly what I expected it to look like but it TASTED like the best avocado/tomato/cheddar sandwich ever plus an egg; super rich and buttery and filling, plus the apple slices on the side actually paired really well.
3) The maple latte was just sweet enough and came in a huge cup even for a small
4) Free wifi and lots of seating options so it's a great place to get work done. Sadly the outlet near me didn't work though.
I wish they were open later--I would come after work!
